The Chrome Hearts x Toyota popup is a collaborative popup showcasing the 1v1 Chrome Hearts MK4 Supra. The goal of this project was to design a pop-up shop for a collaborative product launch between two existing companies or brands by combining their brand ethos to launch a new product. This project was designed within the constraints of two to three shipping containers. The goal was to research both companies’ histories, audiences, and market positions, then translate their combined ethos into a physical retail space and branded collateral. The project included developing a fully rendered SketchUp model and a branded book showcasing the co-lab’s typography, color palette, signage, merchandise, and overall visitor journey. Through this project, I learned how to merge contrasting brand narratives into a unified design system.
